Which data is processed

This website only collects data that you enter yourself in the quote form. Depending on the form, that is your name, email address, phone number, postal code, the selected service, a preferred date and your message.

If you send photos along with your request, they are part of your message. They are only used to handle your request and are deleted together with your message: requests that do not lead to an engagement are deleted no later than two years after the last contact.

The website anonymously counts how often pages are visited, how often the phone number, email address or WhatsApp is clicked and how often the quote form is submitted. It also measures how quickly the page loads. These measurements place no cookies and store no personal data such as your IP address.

Purposes and legal basis

Your data is used to answer your request and to prepare a quote. The legal basis for this is the performance of a contract or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

A security check is used to keep out automated requests. The legal basis for this is the legitimate interest of keeping the form usable (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long data is kept

Requests that do not lead to an engagement are deleted no later than two years after the last contact. If your request does lead to an engagement, the statutory retention periods for business records apply.

Who receives the data

VBWebsites builds and maintains this website and processes the form submissions on our behalf, as a processor. A data processing agreement is in place for this.

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also provides the security check for the form.

Your data is never sold and never used for advertising.

Map of the location

The contact page only shows our location when you ask for it yourself with the “Show map” button. If you do not click, no connection to Google is made and Google receives no data about you. If you do click, Google Maps loads and Google receives your IP address among other things, to which Google’s privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also have the processing restricted, object to the processing and receive your data in a commonly used file format.

You can send a request to privacy@stroomrecht.example. You will receive an answer within one month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch Data Protection Authority).
