Media and content rights confirmation

This is a content draft, not a final agreement. It requires qualified review of the English legal and commercial wording before publication.

You give this confirmation for each item at the moment you supply it: the intake asks for it at every upload, and anything supplied later is confirmed the same way. This document sets out that confirmation in full. You accept it at the first annual payment, and from then on it applies throughout the service term — for every item on your website, whenever it was supplied, and for everything you supply afterwards.

Acceptance does not make previously supplied material lawful. If something already supplied does not meet this confirmation, say so before you accept, or as soon as you notice; VB Websites removes or replaces it and does not publish it.

The Customer confirms, for every submitted item intended for publication or processing:

• it has the right, licence or permission to use the text, logo, photo, video, illustration, music, testimonial, review, qualification, certificate, price and claim;
• it has permission from identifiable people to publish their name, image, voice, quote, role and other personal information for the selected website and languages;
• the information is accurate, current, lawful and not misleading;
• no item knowingly infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, publicity, portrait, consumer-protection or advertising rules;
• any restriction, expiry, attribution, licence condition, geographic limit or required credit has been supplied to VB Websites in writing;
• it will promptly tell VB Websites if a permission is withdrawn, expires, becomes inaccurate or is challenged.

The Customer authorises VB Websites to receive, scan, sanitise, resize, translate where approved, store, back up and publish the supplied material only as needed to provide the ordered service. Customer ownership and the delivered-site licence follow section 6 of the customer contract. No unrelated portfolio, advertising or general-purpose model-training permission is granted. Responsibility for supplied rights and claims does not excuse VB Websites' own unauthorised changes or unlawful processing and creates no automatic unlimited indemnity.

Report a rights concern to support@vbwebsites.nl, identifying the material and grounds. VB Websites assesses the report, seeks clarification where appropriate and restricts or removes affected material when reasonably necessary or legally required. It informs the Customer unless prohibited by law; urgent removal need not wait for a dispute to be resolved. Personal-data processing still requires an applicable legal basis; a content licence alone is insufficient.
