Our processors

Updated on 25 September 2026. This is the list of services that process personal data for us, grouped by kind of supplier. A processor works on our instructions; a subprocessor helps us with data for which you, as our customer, are responsible, such as quote requests from your website visitors. We provide the names of the suppliers within a category on request, before and after acceptance, via support@vbwebsites.nl. Our privacy statement describes which data we use, why, for how long, and which independent parties have a role of their own, such as the payment service and the Trade Register.

Hosting and storage

Our server is with a hosting supplier inside the European Economic Area (EEA). On it we process application, customer, order, intake and file data.

Network, security and email

A network and security supplier provides the domain settings, the secure connection, the delivery of websites, the storage of website files and photos, the sending of our automated email and the forwarding of email with Basic. In doing so it processes IP and request data, website files, photos, email addresses and messages.

This supplier has a global network. Customer files are kept in the European storage location; traffic handling can take place outside Europe. The data processing agreement with this supplier contains the terms and the transfer safeguards.

Domain names and mailboxes

A domain and mailbox supplier registers domain names and provides the mailbox with Professional. In doing so it processes the details of the domain holder and contacts, the mailbox user, the extra addresses and the messages in the mailbox. The mailbox service runs in European data centres.

AI services for texts and design

We use AI services to write and translate website texts and in our design process. They receive only the approved intake details, selected photos and texts needed for that. We do not send correspondence, passwords or data that is not needed. These suppliers are based in the United States; European standard contractual clauses apply to that transfer.

Changes and objection

We announce a new or replacement subprocessor by email at least 30 days before use, stating the service, the purpose and the location. During that period you can object on data-protection grounds, with reasons, via support@vbwebsites.nl. We then look for a suitable solution. If an objection cannot be resolved, the processor agreement governs the termination of the affected service; the paid annual amount is then not refunded, subject to mandatory law, and the agreed export and deletion duties continue to apply.
